Human induced climate change is the largest social, economic and environmental challenge faced by us today. Scientists insist that a huge reduction in carbon emissions of over 60% is needed within the next 40 years in order to stabilise global warming and that’s why at coolbillboards we take environmental and climate issues very seriously. Due to their unrivalled expertise and experience we chose to work with the Carbon Neutral Company to reduce our diesel emissions.
We aim to reduce what we can and offset what we can’t through various methods on our turnkey programme provided by the carbon neutral company. We are also in the process of converting our fleet to run on bio - diesel where possible
All of our posters are recycled after use and we have teamed up with a local PVC recycling company who have offered to take all of our excess waste and used banners to produce traffic cones along with other things.
We want to minimise our impact on the environment that is why we ensure that every driver is trained on the importance of carbon neutral driving. To achieve this we carry out the following
- Ensure that our vehicles are serviced correctly to ensure the vehicle is operating efficiently.
- Routinely check the tyre pressure on all of our vehicles to reduce fuel consumption.
- Ensure that we do not carry unnecessary weight onboard which could increase fuel consumption.
- Switch off our engines when parked to avoid wasting fuel.
